Jarden's electroplating experience led to the development of the bronze-plated coin blank. This blank is produced utilizing our proprietary electroplating process.

Typical base materials are zinc, steel, or nickel.  The substrate is plated with a copper layer followed by a bronze layer that gives the coin blank a bright, high-quality finish.

We offer bronze finishes in yellow, red, and white.

We utilize alloy plating technology for our bronze finishes.  This means that the combination of copper and tin to form bronze is deposited onto the blank surface in the plating bath.

Another benefit of our process is the deposit of additional plating on the rim of the coin, an area which is particularly subject to wear, thereby increasing the life of the coin.
